About Karen elise

I am a native Californian, born and raised in San Francisco and educated in California.

I have a Masters in Public Health from Loma Linda University and worked in the field of health, wellness and healing for over thirty years.

I have a Masters in Liberal Arts from Naropa University/Oakland Campus in engaged Spirituality where I studied  the Wisdom Traditions of the East and  West, Indigenous Cultures, and the Feminine. Other areas addressed in this program included:  arts-as-meditation--the power of the arts and imagination, peace and social justice, cosmology, sustainable living, planetary survival,  ecology and the reinvention of work--all relevant issues of the 21st Century.

My ancestral roots led me to the Avalon Mystery school for Western Esoteric Arts where I graduated with a focus on sacred magical and earth healing practices.  I Graduated from the Intuitive Training and Intuitive Touch Programs at Intuitive Way, Center for Intuitive Training in Walnut Creek.

I have many interests, am widely read and enjoy traveling.  As a “native” daughter of California I enjoy staying home with treks to native sacred sites, coastal dunes, beaches and highlands, faery forests and community gardens. I frequent Regional State and National Parks in California and have visited many others in the United States and Canada.

When traveling abroad I focus on archeomytholology-pilgrimages to sacred sites and ancient ruins and studying earth energies. I have traveled to Antarctica, India, Egypt, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Europe including Ireland, England, Scotland,  the Hebrides and Orkney. I also enjoy music, dancing, art, museums of all kinds, yoga and photography.
